Coach Royce’s experience with track started in high school where he first discovered that he was gifted with exceptional speed. While competing in high school he acquired a number of accolades, including recognition as the track MVP of his high school and district champion in the 400m, triple jump, and mile relay. Coach Royce placed 3rd in the state 400m race his senior year and went on to dominate on the track throughout his collegiate career, becoming a four-time All-American sprinter and the track MVP of Angelo State University. He also trained for the 2004 Olympics after graduating with a degree in kinesiology from Huston-Tillotson University. From June 2003–August 2010, Coach Royce was employed at A Glimmer of Hope foundation as a project manager and camp director. There he assisted in the appropriation of approximately $3.5 million in financial assistance for over 100 non-profit organizations in the Austin area. Coach Royce started Running with Angels in 2006 as a means to inspire kids to be the best they can be in whatever they do. Today he works full time as the RWA Head Trainer, overseeing a curriculum designed to enhance the mental poise, running technique, speed and overall health of RWA clients. Coach Royce currently attends Agapé Christian Ministries where he serves as a proud Deacon and Armor Bearer to Bishop L.A. Wilkerson in Austin and Round Rock, Texas.
Coach Albert has national-level competitive experience in track and wrestling. He currently holds the Suffolk County Long Island record in the 55 meter dash and his fastest 40 yard was clocked at 4.19. His philosophy of restoring balance and symmetry of the mind and body, increasing flexibility, and programming the correct movement patterns help create the perfect recipe for each client's fitness success. Prior to joining Running with Angels, Albert was employed as a Financial Analyst in the Corporate Trust Group of Deutsche Bank for over 7 years and the Global Securities Services Group of Bankers Trust Company. He is currently finishing the doctoral program in Mental Health Economics at The University of Texas at Austin. Coach Albert also attends Agapé Christian Ministries where he serves in the ministry.
