Royce Dennis and his team have over 20 years in running expertise and have worked with some of the most elite student athletes in the Austin area. Individuals like Griffin Gilbert, wide receiver for the four-time state championship football team at Lake Travis High School (LTHS); Cody McCrary, who broke the former LTHS 300m hurdles record during her first track meet after training with Coach Royce; and Conner Floyd, top receiver at LTHS and statewide blue-chip recruit, have all attested to experiencing tremendous results since training with RWA. Take a look at some of the testimonials below to see how RWA is dynamically impacting the lives of so many athletes:
Royce Dennis is one of the most positive and inspirational coaches I have met in my 30+ years of coaching elite level athletes. He brings a high level of energy to every workout. He inspires athletes to reach for the best they have within. His knowledge of running form and training stems from an Olympic level of performance as an athlete. His coaching bring Olympic levels of energy and inspiration.
My name is Lori and I’m a 44 year old female. I started working out with Royce in July 2006 because of weight gain. In nine months my body has become strong and my stamina and endurance has improved. I also had some unexpected benefits regarding my mind and spirit. My mind is clear and focused and even my sleep has improved. My spirits has been uplifted; I’m confident, grateful and my attitude is positive. I’m thankful that I chose Royce as my trainer. He is knowledgeable so the workouts are effective. However, Royce brings a spiritual aspect to the workout that seems to give everything a greater purpose. His encouragement is genuine and heartfelt, and he is a true motivator. The process has been a joint effort. I show up willing to do the work. Royce shows up with the plan and a smile. Working out with Royce has become a part of my life and I’ve never felt better.
My name is Ron Lewis, I’m a father of two outstanding boys: Alec (age 17), a junior at St. Michael’s Catholic Academy and Avery (age 12), a sixth grader at St. Gabriel’s Catholic School. Both boys are good athletes; Alec dedicated to lacrosse and Avery in love with football. Both had good speed and so I didn’t think much about it until a friend told me about Running with Angels, so I said ok I’ll give it a try. WOW is the first word that comes to my mind. After just a month I could not believe the difference in both boys’ speed. Alec increased his speed and quickness beyond my expectations and has shown that new speed on the Austin ATX elite lacrosse team. Avery, well he scored 9 touchdowns as running back with 3 of those being kick returns. I was amazed at how much faster they got the more they worked with coach Royce. The great thing about coach Royce is that he not only has great knowledge and coaching skills but he also taught my boys confidence, courage and most of all that God is in control of their lives. I would recommend that any parent that has a child that is good but wants to get better or maybe a child that just needs that confidence boost this program is for you. It’s the best, my boys just keep getting faster and more confident the more they are with coach Royce. I give it five stars. Thanks coach!
Royce Dennis has worked with my 11 year old son Jake for approximately 4 months. The results have been amazing! Jake’s 40 yard dash time has improved by over a half second. Royce also worked with several of Jake’s teammates on his 6th grade flag football team. Each student improved their 40 yard dash times by at least three tenths of a second in two months. The increased speed and self confidence instilled by Royce helped lead the team to both the league and tournament championship! I highly recommend Royce Dennis to anyone looking to improve their speed and create a more positive outlook on life.
Royce Dennis is a coach on a mission to help athletes be the best they can be on and off the field. I hosted a DVD production with Royce entitled “Mental Training; Thinking Like A Champion”. This gave me a chance to further my professional relationship with Royce, while enhancing our friendship that has dated back for quite a few years when he worked with my wife at the non-profit organization AGlimmerofHope.org. Royce has a powerful presence and truly lights up a room when he walks in. Royce Dennis is a great human being, who is a true leader on the pulpit and in life.
