Royce Dennis is a native of East Texas; he graduated in 1994 from Jacksonville High School in Jacksonville, Texas. A member of the National Championship Track and Field (Power-House) at Blinn College 1994-95. Royce went on to be a Four-Time All American Track Star at Angelo State University from1995-97. In 1997 he won MVP and he indeed was a team leader. He ran the 200m dash, also competed in the 400m and the 1600m relay. His team still holds the 1600m relay school record of 3.05.89 minutes at ASU. Royce moved to Austin, Texas in 1999 to finish collegiate studies and train for the 2000 Olympics. Royce received a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology from Huston-Tillotson University of Austin, Texas in 2003; which was the biggest goal of all.
